In The Flesh perform a two and a half hour show of music from the classic-era Pink Floyd and constantly strive to give their audience and deliver the very best concert experience they possibly can.
The sound production improves on an almost daily basis and the band continues to invest in vintage instruments, pedals and valve amps. They even use the same model Hammond organ that Richard Wright used, ensuring an accurate recreation of the original Pink Floyd sound, and performed as it was at the time.
Later in the year the band will be experimenting with surround sound for the very first time, to give an authentic recreation of a Pink Floyd concert.
Naturally the visuals are also a big part of the show and the band employs an impressive lighting rig including a 15-foot diameter circular projection screen with striking and original imagery to accompany the music, including some specially commissioned films produced by the original lighting designer of the legendary Fillmore East theatre in New York.
In The Flesh performs selections from the entire Pink Floyd catalogue, with tracks from the albums
The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, A Saucerful of Secrets, Meddle,
The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall, The Final Cut, A Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell as well as a few suprises for the hard-core fans.
With an ever evolving sound and light presentation and regular changes to the visuals and the set list, the show is kept fresh and interesting for the fans.
This is a definitive Pink Floyd experience and is not to be missed.
